known most as the founder of RAWSISTAZ Literary Group (www.rawsistaz.com)
which supports and promotes African-American authors and their
work. RAWSISTAZ stands for Reading and Writing SISTAZ, originally
created for women only. Under the RAWSISTAZ umbrella is RAWSISTAZ

well as a place for readers to find out about the latest (and
older) book reviews, new releases, author spotlights and more.
Since inception, RAWSISTAZ has been a leader and innovator
in supporting African-American literature and is a major resource
for readers, writers, and literary enthusiasts. RAWSISTAZ
has received numerous awards and recognition, one of which
is Writers Digest 2006 Top Sites for Writers.

decade of service to the African-American literary community.
In addition to RAWSISTAZ, she has written columns, served
